FAQs
The measure of a good website is its ability to inform, entertain and educate. In this section we hope to answer some of the questions we are asked regularly. These questions are parts related, but of course you may want information about the Company's past, present and future. If your question is not here and the answer to it is no where else on the site please contact either one of the Heritage Specialists or email us at AM Heritage
Frequently Asked Questions:
Where can I get genuine Aston Martin parts?
We have appointed 13 Heritage Specialists to support owners and provide genuine parts for all Heritage models. They have been carefully selected on the basis of their knowledge and understanding of the marque and their reputation for customer service. The Heritage Network can be accessed via this website by clicking on 'Specialist Network'
Why do you not sell parts direct?
There is no provision for retail sales at Parts Operations and our systems have been developed to provide a rapid service via the Heritage Specialists and Main Dealer network.
We do occasionally supply parts direct as part of our Special Promotions programme.
What is a Heritage Aston Martin?
Heritage models are defined as all models from the 1958 DB4 to the Vantage LeMans of 2000, excluding DB7.
When will DB7 become a Heritage model?
No decision has yet been taken but the Heritage Specialists are qualified to carry out repairs and supply genuine parts for DB7.
Can I order from a Main Dealer?
Yes, you are able to order from Main Dealers. They may not have the parts on the shelf or have the specialised product knowledge.
Is there a list of parts available?
Parts Catalogue data in a PDF format is available on this site on the relevant model group page. Full hard copy versions are also available from the Heritage Specialists or Main Dealers.
How soon can I have the parts?
The Heritage Specialists hold substantial stock on the shelf. If a part is not stocked, then delivery is normally 2-3 days in the UK and 4-5 days worldwide.
Can the parts be sent directly to me?
The 'Direct to your Door' facility enables a Heritage Specialist or Main Dealer to request your order to be sent from Parts Operations to you. This facility is only available if the order is placed in the same country as the delivery address. Please contact your Specialist / Dealer for further details.
Some of your parts seem expensive. Why?
Heritage models were built in very small numbers, and consequently we purchase parts in low volumes. Additionally, tooling costs have to be amortised over small batches of parts. We hold over 17,000 Heritage part numbers in stock, many of which are very slow moving. Our prices reflect the depth of the support that we offer, which we feel is the best of any low volume manufacturer in the sector. Due to the bespoke nature of the marque, many parts are made individually to order. Pricing is reviewed regularly and we welcome feedback from all our customers.
